History
Founded in 2011, ReNew Power was established by Sumant Sinha with the vision of becoming a major player in the renewable energy sector in India. The company quickly expanded its portfolio, focusing on both wind and solar energy projects. By 2018, ReNew Power had become the largest renewable energy company in India by capacity
In 2021, ReNew Power went public through a merger with RMG Acquisition Corporation II, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). This move helped the company gain international recognition and access to global capital markets
